Day 1: Ubud Cultural Immersion

Start early at the Tegalalang Rice Terraces, UNESCO-recognised for their ancient subak irrigation system, then try the famous Bali Swing. Visit the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary and Ubud's Royal Palace and art markets. In the evening, try babi guling or bebek betutu and watch a Kecak fire dance performance.

Day 2: Temples & Waterfalls

Experience Bali's spiritual side at Tirta Empul, where Balinese Hindus perform purification rituals in sacred spring water. Cool off at Tegenungan Waterfall's natural pool. In the evening, Seminyak's beach clubs for world-famous Bali sunsets and a beachfront seafood dinner.

Day 3: Beaches & Uluwatu

Relax at Nusa Dua or Sanur beach in the morning. Visit Uluwatu Temple, perched dramatically on 70-metre cliffs above the crashing ocean — time it for late afternoon golden light. End at Jimbaran Bay's legendary beachfront seafood restaurants, fresh fish and lobster grilled over coconut husks.

Nyang Nyang Beach — a 45-minute clifftop walk to one of Bali's last truly empty beaches. Sidemen Valley — wider, less photographed rice terraces with views of Gunung Agung volcano. Taman Saraswati Temple, Ubud — a free lotus pond temple, venue for evening Kecak performances. Aling-Aling Waterfall — North Bali's best waterfall with natural rock slides. Tirta Empul before 8am — witness the purification ceremony before the crowds. Warung Babi Guling Ibu Oka — the legendary suckling pig warung, open lunch only, sells out by 1pm.
